Request translator and interpreter service

The County Clerk verifies translators' and interpreters' declarations only completed by a translator and interpreter registered with one of the following, the California Courts for Certified/Registered Court Interpreter or the American Translators Association for Accredited Translator.

Translator and interpreters service can be done in person or by mail.

In person

Submit the following:

  • Original document in the foreign language
  • Document translated into English
  • Original and Complete Declaration and Certification form with signature acknowledged by a notary public
  • Fee
